phpBB has category type forums, that can contain forums that can function as subcategories.I'm shopping for a discussion forum. The group needs their discussion topics by location:
country >
state >
city >
topic 1
topic 2
topic 3
etc.
But I found that not all forum software allows for multiple drill-down categories, and several only allow two deep!
How many category levels will phpbb handle?
Forums can contain subforums which in turn can contain sub-subforums
From your post i gather all you need is:
Categories for the countries,
Forums for the States, and
subforums for the Cities
